I painted this a couple of months ago, and took a picture of it because the leaves, which I love to include in a painting, wilt or curl, so photos are necessary at times like that, since I don't ever complete a painting in one sitting. And some paintings take a lot longer than others. Except for times like this, I always work from a set up in my studio with one source of light. In a case like this, I will still use the live set up, but use the photo for reference when painting the leaves.
